School Supply Distribution
Young minds are our country’s future, and shaping them is everyone’s responsibility. Akka Foundation recognises the value of education for all. Unfortunately, many families face a variety of challenges when it comes to providing an education for their children. We identified one such issue and took immediate action to address it. We distributed school supplies to over 4,500 Nilanga students in order to encourage them to attend class on a regular basis.
Career Counseling Workshops
Choosing a career is important, and having the right information at the right time can be extremely beneficial. Akka Foundation’s Career Counseling Workshops guide young people through various activities so that they can make informed career decisions. This includes giving seminars and administering aptitude tests to high school and college students. We have also organised workshops for disabled youth to inform them about various government programmes for career development and advancement.
